The generation that will witness the conversion of Israel will also experience ’the summer’, for it is near. The fig tree, which represents Israel, is the first to sprout and in the summer all trees will blossom and bear fruit. This speaks of the time when all nations will be subject to the Messiah. The revelation of the Kingdom over the whole earth and over all peoples.
seven seals relating to Israel
We have now seen several connections between Matthew 24 and the book of Revelation, because many things run parallel. We saw that the opening of the first six seals relates to Israel: the false peace and the great tribulation set forth in Revelation 6.
This is followed in Revelation 7 by the sealing of the 144,000 and the description of Israel gathered from the nations, the crowd that no one can number.
At the seventh seal the Kingdom is established over Israel.
seven trumpets concerning the nations
In Revelation 8, 9 and 10 the seven trumpets are described, with judgments coming on the nations in the day of wrath (Rev.6:17).
At the seventh trumpet the Kingdom is established throughout the world.
Revelation 11
15 And the seventh messenger blew the trumpet, and great voices were heard in heaven, saying, The kingdom of the world has become our Lord’s, and His Christ’s, and He will reign for the eons of the eons. Amen!

It is striking that in several places, in different ways, it is said how long the great tribulation will last for Israel. 1260 days (Rev.11:3; 12:6), 42 months (Rev.11:2; 13:5), or: time, times and half a time (Dan.12:7; Rev.12:14). But of the day of wrath it is not said how long this period will be.
36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the messengers of heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
that day
When it comes to the day of wrath, the time between the conversion of Israel and the establishment of the Kingdom over all nations (>summer), it is not known how long it lasts. And therefore it is unknown exactly when the end of the aeon will be. No one knows about that day and hour. Not even the angels and not even the Lord when He was on earth. This is confirmed in the sequel and it is described what that time will be like, which immediately precedes the end of the aeon.
